CNX APAC 2020 took place for 6 days, with over 40 panellists from 23 countries joining us online. The summit was hosted by Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) and Internet Society (ISOC) with support from the Association for Progressive Communications (APC), Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), and APNIC Foundation.
We are grateful to all partners for their continual support through the conference. Our panellists joined us from across continents, many making special arrangement to be connected online at odd hours in their time zones, and their participation enriched the discussions and added nuanced perspectives. We would like to express our gratitude to each one of them.
We would also like to thank all the community networks that sent us their case stories, which were showcased through the sessions, enhancing the sessions, while providing diverse narratives and experiences across contexts.
We would also like to thank Joly MacFie from ISOC for working with the organising team on the technical aspects and live-streaming the sessions across digital platforms. We are grateful to Sarbani Belur for being the session host for the Summit Roundtable. Finally, we would like to thank Ritu Srivastava for guiding us through the conference.
We have exciting plans lined up for CNX 2021, and we hope to see all our community network partners, organisers, and well-wishers at the next event!
